Morgan Freeman is a Moulin Rouge fan! Who would’ve thought? The actor described the movie as ‘fabulous’ and ‘entertaining’. He further on went to describe the film as a complete package, with dancing, music, and a glamorous wardrobe. 

2. Jimmy Fallon 

Funny guy Jimmy Fallon loves Pee Wee’s Big Adventure. The actor made the revelation while listing down his all-time favorite movies for Rotten Tomatoes. 

 3. Charlize Theron 

Charlize Theron is an avid, ‘Planes, Trains and Automobiles’ fan. It’s a classic film that she claims she’s probably seen 150 times.

4. Reese Witherspoon 

Reese Witherspoon described the film Overboard (1987), as a gem of a movie, during a telecast back in 2012. 

5. Leonardo DiCaprio 

Leonardo DiCaprio’s favorite movie is, ‘Taxi Driver (1976)’. The film is a Scorsese masterpiece.

Al Pacino once shared his thoughts, over a red carpet interview with the American Film Institute for `The Tree of Wooden Clogs and Singin’ in the Rain”. The veteran actor claims that he has about 5-6 movie titles on his list.

Snoop Dogg once tweeted in 2014  that ‘The Mack’ is his all-time favorite movie. The movie inspired him and he claims it made him who he is today. Never change Snoop Dog, we love you! 

10. Gwen Stefani 

Gwen Stefani is a fan of “The Sound of Music classic movie. She mentioned in an interview, back in 2013, that her favorite film is The Sound of Music, something that she can watch easily with her children too.

13. Jhonny Depp 

Johnny Depp once mentioned that ‘The Wizard of Oz’, helped him escape his difficult and turbulent childhood. 

14. Emma Stone 

Emma Stone, while speaking to Entertainment Weekly, mentioned that ‘City Lights’is her favorite movie. The actress claims that the film changed her life for the better. 

15. Mark Ruffalo 

Mark Ruffalo is an ‘On the Waterfront’ fan. He mentioned the movie during an MTV interview. 

16. Barack Obama 

The former US president, Barack Obama enlists The Godfather series as his most favorite film franchise. 

17. Benedict Cumberbatch 

Benedict Cumberbatch, while speaking to HFPA, mentioned that the film, ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark, was his favorite film during his childhood. 

18. Antonio Banderas 

Antonio Banderas has listed ‘Touch of Evil (1958)’ as his favorite movie of all time. The classic, Lawrence of Arabia and The Godfather also grace his list. Clearly, the actor is a major Orson Welles fan since another Welles film called ‘The Magnificent Ambersons’ is also on the list. 

19. Oprah Winfrey 

Everybody’s favorite personality, Oprah Winfrey, is a fan of the movie, ‘Beasts of the Southern Wild’. According to her, the film has a spiritual and magical feel to it and she was spellbound when she watched the movie for the first time.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Zac Efron mentioned that Jim Carrey is one of his favorite actors of all time, which is why his favorite movie starring the actor is The Truman Show.

The late Heath Ledger was a fan of ‘The Wizard of OZ’, which was released in 1939. The talented actor adored the classic film because it was the only film his parents allowed him to watch as a child.

Taylor Swift started a more recently released movie. Her favorite movie (for now), is Someone Great, which was released in the year 2019. So much so, that the movie was a source of inspiration for her song “Death by a Thousand Cuts”.  The film is a rom-com, which is based on female friendships and sisterhood. It has a 6.2 rating on IMDb. 

29. Uma Thurman 

Uma Thurman has been enthralled by the movie, ‘Pillow talk ‘. She once mentioned that she wanted to be Doris Day, a character in the film. The movie is a rom-com. 

30. Natalie Portman 

Natalie Portman stated that ‘Dirty Dancing is one of her all-time favorite movies. She mentioned the movie title while promoting the movie for AFI Movie Club.
